Technically, it features an HDMI 2.0 input with a loop-out for displaying the signal on a local monitor, as well as IR input and output, USB ports, and an RS-422/VISCA port for bidirectional data transmission. Two Ethernet ports, one of which is PoE, ensure the transmission of the video signal over the Dante IP network. A front panel headphone output allows for direct sound monitoring on the device. Additionally, a small OLED monitor provides video feedback, audio level meters (VU meter), and access to Dante settings via a rotary button.

Housed in a robust metal casing, it can be rack-mounted in a 19'' rack with two 1U mounting kits, available for one or two units. Compact and comprehensive, the DAV-01HT is a powerful Dante IP video encoder, ideal for distributing high-quality audio and video without latency in high-end professional environments such as auditoriums, conference halls, theaters, meeting rooms, and university lecture halls.
